Whether you are traveling for work or pleasure, leaving behind your cat is never easy. At our Las Vegas animal hospital, our feline veterinary team can help. As the first cats-only hospital in Nevada, our experienced vet care team understands how to help cats relax and enjoy their visit. Our Las Vegas cat clinic is a secure, hygienic facility. Even better, in the event of a pet health emergency, our veterinary team is just steps away.
Boarding at a cat clinic offers many advantages to leaving your cat home alone. Even if a neighbor is able to check on your cat, your neighbor most likely cannot stay with your cat for extended periods. Cats that are left alone can become depressed, anxious, nervous and even try to escape. We offer peace of mind that your cat is safe and a veterinarian is nearby.
Our cat hospital maintains a state-of-the-art facility. We require all pet owners to submit proof that their cats are up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies. Our feline care team follows strict sanitation and safety guidelines to protect your cat’s health.
If your cat is new to boarding or had a negative experience in the past, it’s natural to feel anxious about your cat’s well-being. Some cats panic any time they enter a cat carrier. If this is your cat, our team can help. We recommend slowly introducing your cat to boarding. A short, one night visit will help familiarize your cat with our cat hospital and reassure your cat that he or she will be returning back to the family home. You are welcome to pack your cat’s favorite blanket or toy to help your pet feel more at home. Please label everything you bring so that it can be returned home after your cat's visit. While we can provide nutritious meals, we recommend that cat owners pack their cats' preferred food. Changes in your cat’s diet can cause an upset stomach and lead to distress. Serving your cat the same food provides important continuity in a new environment. While your cat is staying at our cat hospital, you may also schedule a feline wellness exam, vaccination boosters, or a dental cleaning from our veterinarian. We recognize that pet owners have busy schedules, and an extended stay at our feline hospital is a wonderful opportunity to make sure that your cat up-to-date on wellness care.
